Scientists have failed to prove the benefits of blue light filter glasses

What confused the scientists the most was the lack of a standardised approach to evaluating the technology. Everything that has to do with human health needs medical research according to current protocols. At the very least, this is a long and comprehensive process; you can’t draw such sweeping conclusions from a hundred or even a thousand cases.

What is most disconcerting is that most of the studies were related to a specific commercial product, with inherent characteristics, and the sample of study participants was clearly biased. It’s a typical advertising ploy, and there’s not a word of a lie in there, just covering only a narrow part of the topic to put the product in a favourable light. And what is the actual effect of blue colour on the human body and what gives its blocking – science cannot answer yet.
