Pizzaiola’s robotic chef will replace the staff of a small pizzeria

Pizzaiola can select the desired option from four types of dough, as many sauces, 35 cheeses and other toppings. According to the order, the machine presses out the dough, adds toppings and sauce, slices and packs the finished pizza. The company reports that the capacity of the robotic system is up to 50 products (with a diameter of 20 to 45 cm) per hour.

Pizzaiola gets along well with other kitchen equipment, in particular for grilling and fries, and after a small session of machine learning the system will learn to cook hamburgers, fries, wings, salads and pasta. Crucially, as well as cooking the food, the system monitors up to 1,200 quality parameters every microsecond.

For those who wish to lease Pizzaiola, the system will cost from $7,000 per month.
