Engineers have developed a hyper-realistic robotic dolphin for water parks

According to Edge Innovations CEO Walt Conti, they are talking about the nearly 3,000 dolphins used in various experiments and shows. Animatronic robots can change this situation. For example, about 20 European countries have already banned or restricted the presence of wild animals in circuses.

The dolphin robot is 2.5 metres long and weighs 250 kg. Its skin is made of medical silicone, the price – from 3 to 5 million dollars. Edge Innovations believes that one day anyone will be able to swim in a pool with robotic great white sharks and even Jurassic reptiles that lived millions of years ago.
