Jay-Z, who earned $340 million thanks to selling a stake in music streaming service Tidal and champagne brand Armand de Brignac, rounds out the top 3. However, Springsteen and Jay-Z are not the only musicians in the top 10 of the ranking. Kanye West ($235 million), Paul Simon ($200 million), Ryan Tedder ($160 million) and Bob Dylan ($130 million) are also on the list.
The sale of the rights to use content has also secured a place in the ranking for “South Park” creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker, who ranked sixth on the list, earning $210 million in 2021. The authors of the animated series signed a deal with streaming service Viacom to show the project.
