In laboratory tests, the material, called LionGlass, showed a crack resistance 10 times greater than that of classic glass. In reality, the figures are even higher, but the testers have reached the limits of their equipment and do not yet know the exact values. However, it is already clear that LionGlass products can be made much thinner (and therefore lighter) than previous glass products, while maintaining the same strength. Less material input means even fewer emissions and energy savings.
